Musings

This page contains a collection of resources and gear favorites that I've used over the years.  They aren't a one-size-fits-all solution to one's training needs, but they certainly help me keep organized about where I read that tip, or "what I was wearing when..."

Pinterest is great, but this groups the topics into an easier-to-follow format - better for quick reference when you need it.

One coping mechanism that David and I both share is to tackle a tough topic through extensive research.  This is a collection of print resources I've pored over throughout the years and have revisited every now and a again to soak up ideas that didn't stick the first time.  Especially useful books are the spiral-bound workouts in a binder for when you don't want to HAVE to plan your workout for the day, making one less barrier to fight through in your training.

Now seems like the best time to start keeping track of the things that make me feel and perform well so that I can keep refining the list throughout the process.  It's amazing how an item you love can transform into the world's chafingest monster after hitting 20 miles of pavement.
